Iveco Turbostar Special HP 1991/1992
Finally after about a full years i completed this 1/24 scale kit of the turbostar 190.48 Special model produced by Italeri.
Obviously the vehicle in question doesn't need much introduction...this Special edition was supplied in two colors (white or black) with an aerodynamic package, side skirts and speedline alloy wheels. The interiors were turquoise in color and could be customized with various accessories such as a telephone or refrigerator and food warmer. Back in 1992 it cost around 140 million old lire. The engine was the famous Fiat V8 with a displacement of 17,000 cc with intercooler and a turbocharger for each bank, it delivered 480 horsepower after the power step in 1989.
I gave the model my own light and personal interpretation without distorting the originality.
